GENECS (Generator Controlling Software) is used to control an EMC-PARTNER generator with your computer. Tests, setups, protocols and a LogFile can additionaly be stored and maintained on the devices of the computer.
To connect the generator to the computer you only need one common serial port. Data is transmitted with a software error-correcting protocol.
All generator's display functions are transmitted over this serial link to the computer and are shown there as a virtual generator on the screen. In the other way all commands from the computer environment are send back to the generator. This way the handling of GENECS is equivalent to the handling of the real generator.
GENECS has supplemental functions for viewing and editing protocols (for example insert comments). During the tests a LogFile with all testparameters, date/time and testresults is created.
